

Brewery Interior Taking Shape
We are 90% done with the interior framing! It's exciting to see the walls go up. Up till this point it has just been on paper but suddenly it is feeling so real. How cool is it to walk through and know that this is our office, this is our utility room, this is our brewhouse area! Plumbing continues and electrical work starts Monday. Once the plumbing and wiring is roughed in we will begin the HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) installation. Then we can start s


Our Building Has Come a Long Way – 90 Everett Street, Bryson City, NC
Our building was built in the 1940’s. It has a lot of history, some of it we haven’t even dug up yet. According to the owner, whose father built the building, it was originally a men’s haberdashery (general store). We understand from the locals we have talked to that at some point it was a pool hall, a barbershop and the neighboring hardware store even used some of the space upstairs and in the basement for storage. The last business here was a silk screen graphics shop.

This Is Our First Post….
So this is our first post. We are not bloggers, not even very good writers for that matter, but we have so much to say. Where do we start? How do we keep this interesting and simple yet convey our thoughts? And of course, keep you, the reader, interested in coming back and reading more.
